Well, yesterday wasn't such a great food day in the calorie deparment, but it was a GREAT exercise day. Here's hoping the 2 of them balance each others out...at least a littleJ
A quick FULL BODY muscle workout with just enough core & stretch from the yoga made this a dynamic duo yesterday morning. (to be honest, I only got to sneak in the yoga because Katie slept in a bit...def wasn't in my original plan, but a good example of do what you can WHEN you can!) I loveeeeed the Bikini body routine, especially the arm set while holding in bridge. Great way to get your arms, legs & butt done all in one shot! TRY OUT THIS WORKOUT! You'll love it...especially because it goes very quicklyJ
9:00am: Breakfast- Oats in a Jar
I know. Nothin like HOT OATS in JULY, right?? But that workout left me FAMISHED and that empty Almond Butter jar was just eyeing me from the counterJ
12:00pm: Lunch- Brooklyn Pizza from Rosa's
DEFINITELY not in my original plan of NEVEREATINGAGAIN, but after a morning at Pump it up and a visit with Nona, Katie's request of 'PIZZA!' was too hard for Nona to pass upJ Hahahahaha...even harder to pass up?? The BEST Brooklyn pie in the area! Thin crust piled with CHUNKY tomatoes, grated cheese, mozzarella and spices, this is certainly Rosa's STAR pizza. If you've never had it, you are missing out BIG TIME.
Evening Workout: Zumba

6:00pm: Dinner- Sushi from Kenji Fusion
And I left the house not hungry in the SLIGHTEST after my pizza lunch and after meeting up with my gals and chatting for awhile, I ended up eating sushi like I was being led to the electric chair! It's just sooooooooooooooo darn good! Kenji makes the best I've ever had and it never fails to be showstopping in presentation & flavor.
So OK, today's blog is 2 more of Jersey's finest...with, hopefully, enough calorie burn to at least SOMEWHAT balance it all outJ Sigh...some week's ya gotta just do your best when you can and ENJOY LIFE the rest of the timeJ hahahahahahahah
