Quick recap...

Hey guys!  Happy 4th!  I thought I'd give a quick update before everything starting spinning in a whirl of picnic food and fireworks, especially since yesterday had some yummy, healthy eatsJ

Wednesday Recap:

8:00am:  Coffee with creamer & cinnamon  
Should I mention it was eggnog flavor coffee??  Nah...people would think that's crazyJ

9:30am:  Breakfast- Very Berry Smoothie
I'll probably have this smoothie again this morning because it was both very delicious and really FESTIVE!
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 strawberry Greek yogurt
  • 5 strawberries
  • 1 handful blueberries
  • 3-4 ice cubes

 10:30-11:45am:  Power Yoga class
The classroom was about as cool & breezy as a rain forest.  I'm beginning to think they're just pumping in extra humidity at this point.  Good for the muscles, I SUPPOSE....

1:00pm:  Lunch- Strawberry salad
So between the smoothie, this salad and a little help from Katie, we pretty much downed an entire container of strawberries by 2pm yesterdayJ
In the mix:
  • Red lettuce
  • diced basil
  • 4 sliced strawberries
  • 1 handful trail mix
  • gorgonzola
  • drizzle of olive oil
AKA- pretty much everything I had in yesterday's lunch, but by adding in lettuce & olive oil we can now call it an ENTREE SALADJ 

3:00pm:  Snack- White Cheddar Popcorners 
These things are SO.DAMN.GOOD!  Best 'healthy chip' on the market, hands down.

7:30pm:  Dinner
And since I had a back to back dentist appointment & Body Jam class last night, by the time I got home I only wanted THIS: 
CINNAMON Life = The GOOD LifeJ  

Well, I'm off to make some patriotic goodies & get in ONE MORE workout before it's PICNIC TIME!  Oh yeah, and watch the Nathan's hot dog eating contest.  THAT, I'll have you know, is Scott & I's most RANDOM and strange tradition that we've done since we starting dating...hahahahahahahaJ
